Apparently we are getting many reports from people trying to login that they cannot. They go on to assume the server is down, but actually the server has been up and running as normal (I had wondered why there has been very few people on as of late). There is apparently still some lingering login problems relating to retails big late October patch. Many people that could log in fine before the patch now cannot, as well as most new players trying to set up cannot get past login as well (only 1 new guy that I know of made it in). This problem has been hard to diagnose as I can log in fine and everything I have tried to help with people with this problem has been to no avail. We will be further looking into this problem and try and figure it out. We are guessing it is related to the nprotect/gameguard host, or albeit unlikely, the hosts file. I will try and keep you informed if we come to a solution or fix this but until then if anyone else finds an easy fix please let us know.
